ToolKit manager
The ACCS ToolKit is commercial accessibility software created in collaboration with Microsoft for Windows Vista. It aims to develop the emotional, communicative, social, self-service and professional skills of people with quadriplegia.
This is the main setup tool and basic human-OS interface application, assigned to allow user to control the rest of ACCS Toolkit applications. Toolkit manager loads upon Windows startup and keeps functioning minimized in the background thus allowing to get quick access to necessary settings.
ACCS Toolkit is designed to consist of several interconnected modules, grouped functionally into five blocks: Input tools, Education, Software Optimization, Communication, and Gadgets.
Visual Keyboard tool - interface application designed to select optimal virtual keyboard layout configuration for ACCS user. Some options are available - user can choose from standard QWERTY, custom or user defined “cloud” shaped keyboard layout for example. In addition, Visual keyboard includes text input prediction module, optimized to be used by quadriplegics.
