Birth trauma took her hands. It wasn’t going to take her life. For Eugene, it meant a ten-year fight. Today, Eugene felt her hour of triumph when she was honored with a 2′nd prize award at Imagineup Global competition finals in Moscow. She is the very active member of GRAViTONUS team. During this most prestigious competition she was using ACCS device and the beta of ACCS ToolKit software and virtually leading the demonstration of e-learning innovations for handicapped people by Gravitonus. Dr Kosik and company’s CIO Taras had no other option other than to act like simple assistants during her presentation and then join the audience of 1000, charmed by her skills, in rising in applause.

Alex, Marshall and Taras persuaded potential American investors to help them produce a cutting-edge product that helps the disabled control their PCs with a wireless sensor that fits in the mouth. They got the chance as one of 12 Eurasian entrepreneurs presenting at the Eurasian Innovation & Investment Forum, March 27-28 in Northern Virginia.

GRAViTONUS, a medical device company that developed an Alternative Computer Control System (ACCS) that helps paralyzed individuals efficiently control computers and resume active lives, won The Humanitarian Prize at the second global Intel+UC Berkeley Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge on Thursday, October 26, at the University of California, Berkeley campus.

“Return to active life” - unique project to be implemented thanks to Intel’s support

A new device that allows people with severe mobility challenges to access the Internet and lead more productive lives garnered top honors at this year’s Business of Innovation and Technology-2006 (BIT) contest sponsored by Intel Russia’s Business Catalization Office (BCO). Intel Russia BCO catalyzes business and technology initiatives that strengthen Intel Russia’s value-add position benefiting Intel and Russia as a whole. The ‘Return to Active Life’ project, developed by the Moscow Gravitonus’ Gt group with active support from BCO, was the winning presentation at the annual event, held July 16 in Moscow.

These past few days of BIT have touched all our hearts. As we left the final today as the 1st prize winners, I think most of us got a glimpse of how much You were touching our hearts. As we finished off, dozens of great guys came to congratulate us. I made some awesome connections during the day. Yes, there was great success, but that made it all the more special.
